On Q host Carol Lee Espy has been on Pittsburgh airwaves or on stage for more than 20 years, whether pitching the next best thing or singing its praises.

The Johnstown native is  a critically acclaimed songwriter, both locally and nationally.

In the response to the events on September eleventh, Carol and Jim chose to witness to the good in folks, focusing mainly on the heroic acts of New Yorks' Bravest Firefighters. Proceeds benefit the Leary Firefighters Fund for New York's Bravest. This fund is a direct help to the firefighters, no red tape.

Asked to describe the style, we have to say Americana Allegheny, how's that? This song has had quite a successful response and it makes it all the sweeter to help those who never hesitate to help us.
